About Me

From a young age I have been very attracted to art and crafts. I always drew and enjoyed taking sculpture lessons. Eventually I attended the art academy in Turin, in the direction of sculpture. In addition, I have always painted, it is my great passion.

With my own studio at home, and a (too) large amount of paint, I still enjoy painting and experimenting with paint very much. Since 2020 I have been busy with pouring. It is certainly a challenge, even for an experienced abstract painting artist, to let the outcome on the canvas happen before your eyes. Letting go with art is always important.

That does not mean that figures do not emerge. I always see figures in my works. Sometimes they may remain a little hidden, and other times I work them out.

I have been teaching painting for years. I have given lessons in Loosdrecht, Baarn, and Soest, to various clubs. Most members stayed for many years, and there were always exhibitions at the end of the season, for family, friends, and for the students to show their work. It is wonderful to see the development of artists who enjoy being creative.

I have different art lessons available. You can also message me with questions, if you want to learn something specific. Classes are in groups of 2 to 5 people on average. If you want to know more, please contact me.
